 Julie Mathiesen is the director at Technology & Innovation in Education (TIE) as well as the program director for ESA 6 and 7. TIE is a professional development organization that assists and empowers educational communities to respond productively and responsibly in a networked global society. She is a former high school art and biology teacher and has taught courses at the collegiate level.
