David Ropiek is co-author of the book "Risk: A Practical Guide for Deciding What¹s Really Safe and What¹s Really Dangerous in the World Around You", published by Houghton Mifflin. David is former Director of Risk Communication at the Harvard Center for Risk Analysis. Mr. Ropeik is responsible for communicating the Center¹s approach of keeping risk in perspective to the press, policy makers, and the public. He teaches risk communication at the Harvard School of Public Health.
