Janis C. Hootman, PhD, RN, BSN, MST has worked in school nursing in a variety of roles for over 30 years and served as president of NASN. Donna Mazyck is a state school nurse consultant for the Maryland State Department of Education. Sally Schoessler is a long time school nurse who served as the state's school nurse consultant in New York and now the interim executive director of the National Association of School Nurses.
